Good news is always nice. Something that happens to bring us joy or make us feel all happy.
But, what’s even better than good news? Great news!
How do we get that great news? By Faith.
What’s faith, really? It’s not what most people think and not what many Christians think either.

The one thing God never created? I thought God created all things?
Well, He did… except “Religion.”
Do you know how many times the word “religion” is mentioned in the Bible?
In the Old Testament: Never
In the New Testament: Only eight times. (And usually in a negative way.)
This is the longest word I’ve used on any podcast title, but I thought it best describes the kind of “faith” that too many believers have. (Based on a wrong thinking and understanding of God and His character.)
Psychizophrenia is a psychotic problem that prohibits the normal functioning of a brain either by causing delusions, hallucinations, affected speech and thinking or loss of emotions and expressions and a shattered indecisive personality unable to make goals or targets.
That may be a little extreme in describing the “Schizophrenic Christian,” but unless they change their concept and mindset image of who God REALLY is, they will be “deluded, affected in their thinking and emotions, and will have an indecisive personality.”
Two examples of “Schizophrenic Christianity” are the topic of this lesson.
I knew there was a reason I took psychology in school!

I received a letter this past week that really disturbed me. I started thinking about the many other people that think about God in the same way…
Is he like this dear lady wrote, “I do love God, but I have learned through the years, he can also be cruel. Floods, fires, and wiping out innocent children.”"If God takes my child, I will have a very hard time believing in a merciful forgiving God who would allow children to die so horribly while he watches.”
What do you think about God?

We watch a comedian we like or singer and we say, “I really love him.” “I really love her.”
But all we really are saying is that “we like the way they perform” or the talent they have for doing something well…
We can’t really “love” anyone… we don’t really know.
That’s especially true of saying “we love God.”
What about when the circumstances of our lives take a direction we despise? What about when the wheels are coming off our cart? And as we say, “That really sucks!”
We all have a father right? Some of us never met our earthly father and some of us have a great experience with our fathers.
But, whether or not you ever thought about it, your real father is not any earthly father… but there are TWO possibilities of “who” your father is.
The Bible is very interesting and Jesus helped people understand who “their father” really is based on their reaction to Him.
You may need to “Dump” your father…

What is it that all human beings have when they’re born and will have it throughout their lives?
What is it that we are forced to use everyday of our lives?
What it it that Satan can never steal from us?…..
It’s “Choice”… The power we have to choose.
Three well known celebrities have “gone on” into eternity. What does that mean?
It means they are now living somewhere else other than earth since they’ve “left their earthly” bodies.
You can’t live on “earth” without an “earthly” body and you can’t live in “eternity” with an “earthly body!” Why are we here? What does God want… really? Are Michael, Ed and Farah in heaven or hell?
The answer is clear…
I’ve been gaining more and more awareness of the “missing ingredient” in successful Christian living… And do you know what I think it is?
NO… It’s something more basic and here’s what I think…
